Mrs N's Malt Loaf

Description

<p>A really simple recipe for malt loaf ... and it tastes a billion times better than that rubbish from the shops.</p>

Ingredients
2cups tea (just make some tea with whatever teabags you like)
2cups all bran
1 1⁄2cups sultanas
1pinch salt
1 1⁄2cups brown sugar
Instructions

<p>Preheat the oven to 180</p>
<ol>

put the All Bran in a bowl and add the two cups of hot tea. &nbsp;Leave to soak for 5 minutes.</li>
<li>
Add the sultanas to the bowl and again leave for a couple of minutes.</li>
<li>
Sift in the flour and add the sugar and salt.</li>
<li>
Gently stir together using a wooden spoon until the flour has combined.</li>
<li>
Grease a 2lb loaf tin with butter. &nbsp;Put the mixture into the loaf tin.</li>
<li>
Put into oven for 30 - 40 minutes. &nbsp;You can test to see if it is cooked using a skewer.</li>
<li>
Remove from oven and remove loaf from tin and put onto a wire rack to cool.</li>
